The Turf Growers Association of New South Wales (TGANSW) is the recognised industry peak body in this state and represents the key industry supplier to the wider landscape Industry. 

The TGANSW was setup in 1983 as a response to the growing demand for one voice to represent the industry and to marry the science of turf management with the business acumen of the leading players in the Industry.

Peter McMaugh was the founding president (now life member) along with 18 initial members provided the bedrock for many initiatives over the last 20 plus years of the Associations existence. That Membership has now flourished to the present level of 58 patrons. The current major issue the committe of the TGANSW is addressing is the smooth operation of the Turf Levy and maintaining an adherence to the flow of benefits and eventual returns to our members. ie we are making sure that the "talk matches the walk".
